A woman sat down on the faded bluish color of park bench. She leaned over the bench. Closed her eyes enjoying, fresh air blows touching her skin.
A tear slid down from her eyes, with a wedding invitation in her hand.
Chalondra, was thirty five, a tall, slender, and very pretty, with green eyes, sun kissed tanned Barbie, and blonde hair.
A loud laugh startled her. As her eyes finally snapped open. She scanned around the park, looking for that voice come from.
And bingo, she found it.
It turned out that the voice of laughter was a small girl, with big almond eyes, cherry lips, natural black hair.
She ran and laughed while her father chased after her. Not far from them, Chalondra could see a woman sitting on the ground, smiling at her child and her husband as wave her hand.
They looked like happy family, a small basket, pancakes and fruits were set in front of them, along with a bottle of juice.
They both of two sat down to get their breath beside the woman.
The woman fed them like so many hungry birds, laughing and talking the funny things.
Chalondra's eyes never leaving them, and tears pour from her eyes. She is heartbroken and completely destroyed, all of the memories flooding through her pile and piece together.
"Wake up." Chalondra heard somebody whispered as he gently kissed her neck.
She opened her eyes, as the familiar sweet voice filled her ears and found Aldric's eyes staring back at her. Chalondra shot up from her bed, sitting straight up.
"Aldric!, what are you doing here?" her gaze fell on the clock right on the wall, it was twelve. She felt a hand gently tracing her left cheek, she looked over at Aldric "Happy twenty-seventh birthday, baby." He gave her a gentle smile.
She smiled, opening her arms out wide to give him a hug. "Thanks Aldric." She leaned her head on his chest. She was melted by Aldric's sweet treatment.
"I am sorry, I forgot to buy you birthday cake." She laughed lightly, "never mind, your coming more than enough for me."
Aldric pulled away from her, he kneels down in front of her and opens a little red box containing a diamond ring, "will you marry me?." She was surprised, she didn't say a word, and had a blank stare in her eyes.
Her brain finally connects with her mouth, "I am sorry Aldric. You know so well what my dream, and my determination grow more and more of becoming professional model."
His eyes full of the pain.
"I am going to paris and I will be leaving the twentieth." She explains.
"I never enjoy myself so much as I do now. I have so many luxury things, little suppers and bouquets, go to parties, and drive home, and rest. Whatever I wanted has come true, I guess I'll be happy with everything I have now, but I felt that my life was empty. I'm trying to move on, meet new people and date with some guys. But no one treat me better than you. I came back for you, Aldric, but it's too late." She's saying it as if Aldric can hear her.
Happiness is when we live with people who love us and we love them. Without love, life is nothing.
