A longing.

Natural black hair, a tall, big black eyes, slender, the fellows called her Pearl. She was quickly walking on the sidewalk in the summer. She walked steadily nonetheless, her step firm and graceful at the same time although she carried a heavy box.

While continuing to move forward, Pearl seemed to slower her pace as she got nearer to her destination. She walked towards a doorbell and ring it.

The door creaked and appeared Mrs. Meg, a humble old woman, greeted her kindly and led the way over to the children. Pearl handed the box to Mrs. Meg, Mrs. Meg thank her and smiled. The box contained a wide range of storybooks and stationery.

And there she was, in the hall. She could see the children spread all over the room, playing, talking, and laughing, they seem very happy with their kids' world.

A pretty girl, plenty of soft brown hair, with large eyes, set down on the chair by herself in another part of the room.

She dropped down her head, with her hair was matted, tears streamed down her cheek and dropped off the end of her nose.

Pearl approached, and then kneeling at the foot before the poor girl. "Hai, I am Pearl, what's your name?." asked Pearl.

The girl stared up at Pearl, she was slighting pause until finally answered Pearl as wiping away the tears that were trailing down her cheek.

"My name is Rose." She whispered so low.

"Nicely name, how old are you?"

"Seven, next month."

"Am I disturb you?." Asked Pearl. Rose shaking her head, "not a bit."

"So, why didn't you play with your friends?" asked Pearl, she paused taking a minute; then Pearl said in an altered tone, "are they bullying of you, just now?."

Rose shaking her head again "never," she said. "So why you're sit down in here by yourself?." Pearl asked her.

"I just wanna know how my mother's face and say that I really miss her, although we're never meet before." A tear slid down from Rose's eyes, she hiccuping.

Yap, Pearl is in an orphanage not far from her house.

"Why my mother left me in front of orphanages door alone, just with a letter?" she sobbed, as she took in a deep breath of air. "Ought, she left her picture to me."

"She said that she still seventeen and too young to take care of me." She dropped down her head, she cried as her shoulders trembled.

Pearl tilted Rose's chin up with her fingertips. She made Rose look into her eyes, and at the moment Pearl could seeing the pain in Rose's eyes.

"Everyone in this orphanage is your family and you can refer to Mrs. Meg as your mother", Pearl said very gently then embraced her.

We're young and we make a lot of mistakes but don't be selfish and hurt others. We need to be able to take responsibility for whatever we've done.
