Once the bell rang, I made my way out of the classroom quickly. My fingers dialed Maxime's number, pressing the phone against my ear. I could faintly hear someone slowly breathing. I held in my breath, having a idea of exactly about what happenend to Maxime.
"Maxime?"
"Ya, Aldric. Any assigment?" Maxime said so low.
"No, I was starting to worry about you." I began to walk to the cafeteria.
Maxime chuckled, "don't worry about me. I'm fine."
Maxime said fine?! Lies, lies, lies. "You say you're fine?, I know you better than that."
Maxime sighed, "Ya, you're true." His voice cracked.
I placed my foot in the cafeteria, scanning around looking for empty table. I made my way towards the left of the cafeteria, where I spotted an empty table.
"I think you are one of the only people who actually know the real me." Maxime's voice from the other line.
I took a seat, "after school, I'll pick you up."
"Alright," Maxime's murmured.
I hung up on Maxime.
"Can I sit here and join you?" A sweet voice suddenly startled me.
I stared up at a pair of green eyes, brunette hair, beautiful, her cheeks were pink and dewy. She apply some cherry lipstick onto the luscious lips of hers. "Because all of the table's full." She added, standing in front of me, and waiting for my response.
"Of course." Who is she? she is very graceful and sweet. I smiled, as pushing my glasses up to the bridge of my nose.
She slid in the empty seat across me. "My name's Everly, and your name is?"
"I'm Aldrich." I said, trying to be polite and easy.
"Do people always stare at you like that?" Everly asked.
I chuckled, shrugged. "Maybe," I paused. "They all treated me like a loser." I smiled weakly.
"I'm sorry, I'd like to be friends with you if that's okay with you." She smiled, her cherry lips stretching wide.
I nodded, and smiled.
Everly's prim manner was rather funny put me at my ease.

"I'm on my way, Maxime." I said immediately, before Maxime even got a chance to greet me.
"Alright, I'll get dressed." Maxime said from the other line.
"Hurry, ok? I almost there." I told him.
"Ok."
I pulling my car up to Maxime's house driveway. I killed the engine of my car, rolling down the front door glass.
Maxime frowned, "who is she?" Maxime was curious about the girl who sat in the passenger seat next to me.
"O, this is Everly. I met her in the cafeteria today, and Everly he's my best friend, Maxime." I explained.
Maxime stared at Everly for a long moment, as his eyes intensely bored into her. "H-Hi Maxime." She muttered, uncomfortably by the way Maxime stare at her.
Maxime nodded, "nice to meet you Everly."
"Nice to meet you too, Maxime."
Everly forced her smile.
"Ok, now that we all know each other, can we go now?" I asked, turning to Maxime.
Maxime nodded, got in the car and sat in the back seat.

So, here we are, sitting under a shady tree in a park near the school. It's my favorite spot and Maxime.
"Anyways, how long have both of you been best friends?" She tore her eyes away from her book.
"We've been best friends since elementary school," Maxime said, as turning at me.
"Ya, that's right." I smiled warmly.
We sharing stories, jokes, and laughter, forget about our problems.
"I have to go right now." Everly said, she made sure to pack her things extra quickly.
"We're could take you home." I offered her.
Everly gave me small smile, shaking her head. "It's fine. Have fun." She leaved.
"She's so beautiful and funny, right?" Maxime stared at me.
I nodded. "I think so," stared at Maxime with a light smile.
"I thinks I like her." Maxime admitted.
My smile drop, I sighed. "Try to get to know her better and show her your love." I pated Maxime's shoulder.
"Thanks, you're my best friend Aldric." Maxime punching me in my shoulder.
